Largest Doughnut Wall in the World

To celebrate the 100th anniversary of Fife Family Bakery, the staff at Fisher and Donaldson Baking Agency spent several hours creating a doughnut wall that set a world record for the largest doughnut wall in the world.

The doughnut wall is 15 meters long and consists of 1,234 doughnuts in total, surpassing the previous 1,075 world records.

 

 Fischer & Donaldson has been in a Royal Chartered Bakery since 1919 and is known for its traditional baking around the world——the most famous are the famous fudge donuts, handmade in Kupa's bakeries and loved by bakers and tourists from all over the world.

Chloe Milne said, “The company show that they had tried to set a world record a few months ago when we built a similar wall for the Dundee Flower and Food Show, only to discover that an Australian company had broken our record the day before”.

 

"We are not giving up challenge and we are planning a new attempt to break the world record on St Andrews Day at St Andrews, where we have attempted some events for many years in a row."

It was built for a celebration in St Andrews, where the masses were invited to come and see the completed doughnut wall and made a donation for the doughnut of their choice.

 

This is a charitable organization (TCCL) that Fischer and Donaldson Bakery has long supported to help children with cancer and leukemia, and all donut proceeds from the sale will help sick youth across the country.

Gaye Blair, a trustee of TCCL, said the Bakers had made an extraordinary effort to try breaking the record.

"We are so grateful to everyone who has helped the charity in this unique way, which not only looks and smells great, but also tastes delicious. We are happy to see them become world record holders."
